Yonder Deck

The Yonder Deck offers an alternative, dream-like way of experiencing flight. Developed in collaboration with Airbus, it emerged from the challenge of designing an aircraft interior within the lower cargo deck. An area that remains empty nearly 80% of the time on today’s short-haul routes.

The main challenge was the absence of windows due to the fuselage’s structure. The concept’s response is the Artificial Horizon. a large screen that projects lights on the curved surface in front of it. Inspired by the sky’s color gradients at sunrise and sunset, this dynamic illumination extends throughout the cabin, bringing a sense of the outside world into the interior.

This abstract interpretation of windows provides passengers with a gentle sense of orientation during takeoff, landing, and flight, transforming the journey into a more poetic and immersive experience.
